Transforming outside space for fully functional, year round use through al fresco room builds and garden maintenance.
Outside space has never been more important. For those fortunate enough to have gardens or terraces the ability to socialise responsibly made lockdown a little easier. Keeping this space tidy can be challenging in small gardens so we have created bespoke storage solutions for bins and gardening equipment. We can also erect fencing and construct gazebos to smarten up the space.
This Summer we really enjoyed working with clients to build patios and pergolas to create al fresco ‘rooms’. In the cooler Autumn months brick barbecues doubling as fire pits and adding canvas sling canopies to pergola structures means sitting outside to watch the next big thing on Netflix with a projector and screen is as cosy as being indoors.
Insights and ideas.
A Japanese style pergola made the most of an unused corner for one of our clients. We laid a small area of warm yellow Indian sandstone flags in keeping with the local Imperial brickwork, and designed a pergola to frame the space. With trailing clematis providing a natural canopy by day and strings of solar powered lights creating a relaxing ambience once the sun sets, this really maximised the use of this small SE London garden.
