One of the reasons we set Able Projects up was to address the challenges in finding and coordinating reliable trades. That’s why we value effective project management just as highly as the technical ‘on the tools’ work.
It’s also one of the reasons we do a lot of work with estate agents, management companies and landlords. Having a one stop shop who are trusted to liaise professionally and respectfully with tenants takes a lot of the hassle off landlords, and for management companies with stringent procurement processes, our collaborative online workflow resources really come into their own.
The last few years have seen a rise in ‘accidental landlords’; couples who had their own place before moving in together, or astute investors taking advantage of low interest rates. Without a little black book of reliable tradespeople, and juggling work, family and other commitments it can be hard to promptly deal with maintenance and repair issues and keep tenants happy.
We’re skilled across the whole letting cycle, from freshening up a property for viewings, gas and electricity certifications, ongoing maintenance and end of tenancy turnarounds.
We recently worked on a kitchen for a landlord who needed a rapid and cost effective kitchen refresh. Replacing the worktop and cupboard doors and disposing of the originals all in one day transformed the kitchen while the tenant was at work.
At the other end of the scale we are currently working on a large-scale renovation project for a management company across multiple sites - repairing and painting exterior walls and windows, painting all interior communal areas and replacing carpets.
We’re also proud to be the go-to people for a number of letting agents who value our prompt response and professionalism when dealing with tenants.
Drop us a line if you are a landlord or management company looking to update your property or an estate agent looking to build a relationship with a trusted and reliable team. We love working with you to ensure your properties remain in top condition, after all happy tenants equal happy landlords.
